Last night, Linda and I took part in my favourite race, the Dumfermline 10k. This year they changed the course, making it perhaps more interesting, but noticeably easier than the original run through the town; it was is stilly hilly and harder than any other race Linda or I have run, but I reckon the total elevation on the new two lap course is not more than 60% of that on the old three lap old course, and steepish climbing is limited to two not too long sections on each of the laps.
